From an industry perspective, Taiwan Tech once again topped the “Most Favored Graduates in the Information Technology Sector.” According to Global Views Monthly, “its graduates are regarded by industry as ‘bachelor’s degree holders with master’s-level capabilities,’ possessing strong practical skills and high stability, making them essential backbone talent in enterprises’ digital transformation.” For example, students in IT-related programs have abundant opportunities to participate in internships or industry–academia projects, gaining familiarity with real-world system development processes, project management tools, and collaboration mechanisms. After graduation, they can directly engage in software development, system integration, and related technical roles.

Taiwan Tech retained first place in both “Most Favored Public Technological Universities by Enterprises” and “Most Favored Graduates in the Information Technology Sector”.
In addition, Taiwan Tech ranked second in both the “Engineering & Manufacturing Industry” and the “Construction Industry” categories. Students in engineering and manufacturing programs gain hands-on experience through capstone projects, working directly with production line operations, equipment optimization, materials, and process analysis, thereby developing the ability to solve real-world technical problems. Meanwhile, students in construction-related fields are trained in integrated engineering design, project planning and control, as well as BIM (Building Information Modeling) theory and applications. To respond to industrial transformation and technological upgrades, NTUST’s civil engineering programs are actively expanding into areas such as smart construction, ecological and disaster prevention engineering, and sustainable civil engineering, strengthening alignment between curriculum and industry needs. The university is also equipped with specialized laboratories in geotechnical engineering, rock mechanics, structures, and materials, providing comprehensive experimental facilities and professional software resources. These enable students to conduct simulations and hands-on practice during their studies, accumulating valuable practical experience.

Taiwan Tech also ranked second in “Most Favored Interns from Technological Universities.” Overall, across fields such as ICT, smart manufacturing, semiconductors, and engineering construction, enterprises have expressed strong recognition of Taiwan Tech students’ professional competence and work attitude. In recent years, the university has actively promoted cross-college integration and industry-aligned curricula—for example, combining management and engineering disciplines to cultivate both technical expertise and project communication skills. Through co-teaching by academic faculty and industry professionals, students become familiar with industry pace and team collaboration models in advance. These concrete measures ensure that, beyond technical competence, students are also adept at teamwork and problem-solving, making them highly sought-after talents for employers.
