Global Views Monthly Ranks Taiwan Tech No.1 in Technical Schools, No.3 Nationally in Engineering & Construction.
The 2025 Global Views Monthly Taiwan Best University Rankings were released on June 26. Taiwan Tech delivered an outstanding performance, ranking 9th nationwide - one spot higher than last year - and once again claimed the top position among technical and vocational universities, highlighting Taiwan Tech’s leading edge in vocational and technical education.

In the category rankings, Taiwan tech placed 2nd nationwide among “medium-to-large universities”, just behind National Sun Yat-sen University. It also ranked 6th among “comprehensive universities”, following NTU, NCKU, NTHU, NYCU, and NSYSU - demonstrating Taiwan Tech’s strong overall performance in both teaching and research.
This year’s Global Views rankings also included peer evaluations from university presidents and senior administrators across Taiwan. Taiwan Tech ranked 5th nationwide in “overall competitiveness”. It also secured 3rd place in the “Engineering, Manufacturing, and Construction” field, 5th in “Information and Communication Technology”, and 9th in “Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Statistics” - a testament to the university’s recognized professional excellence.

In the field of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Construction, Taiwan Tech ranked 3rd nationwide. It also placed 5th in Information and Communication Technology and 9th in Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Statistics - demonstrating strong professional capabilities widely recognized by university presidents and senior administrators.
These outstanding achievements are closely tied to Taiwan Tech’s strong emphasis on industry-academia collaboration and practice-oriented curricula. According to Global Views' 2025 “Top University Graduates Favored by Employers” survey, Taiwan Tech not only ranked first among technical and vocational universities but also claimed the top spot among all universities favored by publicly listed companies - clearly reflecting the industry’s high regard for Taiwan Tech students’ professional competence and job market competitiveness.
Taiwan Tech President Jia-Yush Yen noted that Taiwan is currently facing the challenge of a declining birthrate. He urged fellow university leaders and the public to help reshape perceptions of vocational and technical education - not as a second-tier option, but as a driving force behind the country’s future industrial development. He also emphasized Taiwan Tech’s commitment to sharing resources and experiences with other institutions to collectively enhance the capacity of Taiwan’s higher education.
Taiwan Tech continues to promote the integration of academia and industry, as well as interdisciplinary learning. The university not only provides solid professional training but also actively builds internship and research platforms that align with industry needs.
