Taiwan Tech had an outstanding performance at the 2025 National Intercollegiate Athletic Games, earning a total of 8 gold, 3 silver, and 7 bronze medals. The university also achieved 2 fourth-place, 16 fifth-place, 3 sixth-place, 3 seventh-place, and 3 eighth-place finishes. The impressive results highlight Taiwan Tech students’ excellence not only in academics but also in athletics.

The gold medalists of this year's event performed brilliantly. In swimming, Jing-Hong Liu won gold in the men’s 100m breaststroke. In track and field, Chiao-Hung Wang won double gold in the men’s 100m and 200m sprints, setting a new general group record with a time of 10.55 seconds in the 100m final. Pan Shih-Huan secured gold in the 1500m. In woodball, Taiwan Tech took gold in the stroke play team event. Individual golds went to Wei-Ting Dong (stroke play) and Hung-Chun Wang (fairway play). In soft tennis,  Geng-Yu Chao won gold in the men’s singles.

For silver medalists, Jing-Hong Liu earned silver in the men’s 200m breaststroke. Chen-Pei Liao and Tsai-Hsin Chen took silver in woodball stroke play doubles. The men’s badminton team won silver in the open division team event.

The bronze medals include swimming, woodball, judo, and fencing. In swimming, Chien-Cheng Ko, Wei-Ling Chien, and Chih-Hui Lü secured four bronze medals across freestyle and breaststroke events. In judo, Yu-Ting Liao got bronze in the 52.1–57 kg division. In fencing, Chung-Yi Lü won bronze in the men’s épée individual event. In woodball, Yao-Yu Kuo and Chun-Wei Su earned bronze in stroke play doubles.

Taiwan Tech continues to foster talent through its comprehensive sports facilities and support systems, empowering students to shine in academics, technology, and athletics alike.
