In the “Personality Strengths” indicator, where Taiwan Tech ranked No. 2, the three traits most valued by employers - responsibility, teamwork, and resilience under pressure - were all identified as core strengths of Taiwan Tech students. Outstanding performance in responsibility and teamwork reflects the long-standing emphasis of Taiwan’s technical and vocational education system on practical application and collaborative learning. Notably, Taiwan Tech outperformed other top universities in both emotional regulation and optimism, indicating that its students exhibit greater psychological maturity and executive resilience in high-pressure workplace environments and complex challenges.

In terms of “Academic Reputation,” Taiwan Tech also ranked No. 2, successfully breaking long-held stereotypes about the technical and vocational education system. In recent years, the University has received strong recognition in international university rankings such as QS and Times Higher Education (THE), demonstrating that research outcomes driven by practical application can also attain world-class academic standing, showcasing both depth and impact in scholarly excellence.
Taiwan Tech’s No. 3 ranking in “R&D Capability” highlights its key competitive advantage in applied research and development. The University has long focused on technology development with commercial value and industry relevance, achieving notable results in patent applications, revenue generated from intellectual property utilization, and externally funded research projects. These achievements fully reflect the strengths of the technical education system in pragmatic research and rapid real-world implementation.
In the “Discipline Salary Power” indicator, the Foreign Languages and Arts clusters both ranked No. 2, while the Architecture and Design cluster ranked No. 3. These results indicate that Taiwan Tech is not distinguished by a single discipline alone, but rather is committed to the balanced development of diverse academic fields, helping students establish competitive career foundations across multiple professional domains.
Overall, the results of this University Brand Power survey highlight not only Taiwan Tech’s stable and leading brand strength but also the positive cycle it has cultivated among talent development, academic research, and industry collaboration. Looking ahead, Taiwan Tech will continue to deepen its teaching innovation and strengthen its research and development capacity to respond to industry and societal needs, cultivating high-quality talent equipped with both professional expertise and essential competencies, while steadily advancing toward becoming a university with international influence.
