The efforts and outstanding achievements of Taiwan Tech alumni in the South China region are widely recognized. Many alumni hold key positions in local Taiwanese business associations and the South China Taiwan University Alumni Association. This year's annual meeting featured corporate visits arranged by Ying-Chieh Chen, an alumnus of the Department of Electrical Engineering, and Cheng-Chun Lu, an alumnus of the Department of Chemical Engineering, who have been deeply involved in the local area for years. The visits included industries such as autonomous aircraft, digital culture, and printed circuit boards, providing attendees with insights into the latest trends and technological developments, and showcasing the exceptional accomplishments of Taiwan Tech alumni in mainland China.

The annual meeting also featured the “South China Master Lecture - Global Trends Forum” with invited speakers including General Manager Jian-Wei Chen of TUL corporation (alumnus of the Department of Industrial Management), Chairman Yu-Wen Wu of Alltek Group (alumnus from Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering), and General Manager Guan-De Wang of Fuwei Metals Thailand (an alumnus from EMBA program). The South China Alumni Association was enthusiastically initiated in 2017 by Honorary President Wen-Hsiang Liu, an EMBA alumnus. Later, the association thrived under the diligent efforts of two subsequent presidents, Kuo-Yu Kuo, an alumnus of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, and Po-Nien Chen, an alumnus of the Department of Civil and Construction Engineering. They have actively organized various activities to promote exchange and mutual assistance among alumni while strongly supporting the development of their alma mater. Since 2022, the alumni association has continued to call on alumni to donate to support “the Jade Polishing Program”, which supports outstanding and financially disadvantaged vocational students, the “Hand-in-Hand Spread Love Scholarship” and the “Sports Development Fund” for exceptional underprivileged Indigenous students. This year's annual meeting saw another generous donation of NT$500,000 to support the planning of the university's 50th-anniversary celebrations, demonstrating the alumni's deep gratitude towards their alma mater and care for their juniors.
