Six design institutes from Taiwan are among the top 10 list of best design schools in Asian Pacific Area named by Red Dot Award of Design Concept.

    Red Dot Award: Design Concept announced the list of 10 best Asian Pacific schools, among which six design institutes from Taiwan are chosen. NTUST tops the list again by repeating last year’s honor to be best of the best. Two schools from Taiwan are the new names in this year’s list. Aside from the top notch awarded to NTUST, Shih Chien University is No. 3 and National Taipei University of Technology is the No. 4 this year.

NTUST claims the top honor again

    Red Dot is one of the four best-known global design awards. Red Dot offers three kinds of awards: Product Design, Design Concept, and Communication Design. Design Concept is an international professional design award for design concept, ideas and prototype. Among more than 3600 entries from 57 countries in this year’s competition, only 263 are awarded. Among them, 48 designs from Taiwan are listed. The one tops the list as the Red Dot Star is a design done by NTUST students.
