Jane Goodall is in NTUST again to share her concept of conservation

Chimpanzee conservationist Jane Goodall visited NTUST once again. She is here to share her experiences in wildlife conservation and environment protection with students. She even says hello to students with touching chimpanzee greeting styles.

NTUST names this November as “Earth Cherishing Month” and holds a series of wild life conservation activities. Jane Goodall was invited to plant trees on the campus, attend the unveiling ceremony of monument art works, and join the “2012 Jane Goodall musical concert”. Before she left, she hosted a presentation and shared experiences with Taiwanese students.

The art works that NTUST designed for Jane Goodall is sculptured with Chimpanzees and other endangered species in Taiwan, such as clouded leopards. Jane joked that she has received many presents from all different countries, and this is one of her favorites and she doesn’t need to put it into a suitcase to take home.

Jane Goodall encouraged college students to treasure environment and all species of creatures. It is wonderful to have plants around us, and everyone should be grateful to go to classes on a green campus. In some countries, there are many schools that do not have a single tree.
